Curling and Televisions

Not too much is happening. I play in a curling league. I hang out with 40 year old government employees on friday nights and I like cheese. We lost our curling game 9-2, but we almost had them. You could see the sweat threading from their brows and the fear in their eyes, as well as the stains on their flannel coats. We were getting inside their heads. I also bought a new plasma tv. Whenever I say that word plasma I think of Michael Morbius from Spiderman, and how he always craved 'Plasma'. He only said that so that he wouldn't frighten the children, because heaven forbid saying 'Blood' is too scary. The best part of buying the tv was the box. Its in my room now acting as an impenetrable wall from intruders. Yeah so what, I made a fort. On Saturday we watched the remembrance day ceremonies on television. I then started drinking at 11:30, listened to the album 'Thriller', then worked out. I almost puked on the treadmill. The reason was probably because I listened to too much Michael Jackson and my little body couldn't take the PYT overload. I watched POTC:TCOTBP on my tv after that. Im talking acronyms now. Yesterday we had a potluck and invited a few people over. We invited our curling/drinking friends, who brought over a coaribou roast. It was soo delicious it made my scrodum tingle. Seriously. Ben and I went on a hike at 10:30 around the town to a place called Willow Flats overlooking Great Slave Lake. We brought 'liquid longjohns' with us aka a flask full of whiskey to warm us up. It was only -17 last night. Apparently that is warm. It's 2:30 on monday now and Im probably going to go to the gym pretty soon, and after that Im going to do a puppet show for myself. Maybe drink some rum too. I don't know.
